Our Mission

Truth. Discernment.
Accountability.

Independent Christian journalism dedicated to exposing misconduct, protecting the faithful, and calling the Church back to biblical standards.

Why We Exist

The Berean Examiner was founded on a simple conviction: the Church deserves journalism that holds leaders accountable while remaining rooted in Scripture. Like the Bereans of Acts 17:11, we examine everything against the Word of God.

"Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so."

— Acts 17:11

In an age where many Christian news outlets report stories without biblical analysis, and where institutional loyalty often trumps truth, The Berean Examiner offers something different: investigative journalism filtered through the lens of Scripture.

We believe that exposing darkness is not an act of division—it is an act of love. When leaders abuse their positions, when institutions cover up misconduct, when false teaching spreads unchecked, the sheep suffer. Our calling is to shine light into these dark places, not for sensationalism, but for the protection and edification of God's people.

Every investigation we publish, every leader we examine, every doctrine we analyze is measured against the unchanging standard of God's Word. We don't report news for news' sake—we report truth for the sake of the Church.

Our Core Values

These principles guide every story we pursue and every word we publish.

Truth

We pursue truth relentlessly, knowing that Jesus declared Himself "the way, the truth, and the life." Facts matter. Accuracy is non-negotiable.

"You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." — John 8:32

Discernment

We test all things against Scripture. Our analysis goes beyond reporting what happened to examining why it matters biblically and what the Church should learn.

"Test everything; hold fast what is good." — 1 Thessalonians 5:21

Accountability

Scripture commands that leaders be held to a higher standard. We believe public sin requires public rebuke, and that accountability protects the vulnerable.

"Those who persist in sin, rebuke in the presence of all." — 1 Timothy 5:20

Compassion

We never forget that behind every story are real people—victims who have been wounded and need healing. Our journalism serves them first.

"Whoever causes one of these little ones to stumble..." — Matthew 18:6

Courage

We will not be silenced by threats, lawsuits, or institutional pressure. The truth must be told, regardless of who it implicates.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid." — Joshua 1:9

Restoration

Our goal is never destruction but restoration. We expose sin so that repentance can occur and the Church can be purified.

"Restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness." — Galatians 6:1
